Cigna’s mental health coverage is managed under Evernorth Behavioral Health, Cigna’s specialized health services arm. This structure includes an expansive national network, robust digital partnerships, and specialized, condition-specific case management. (Cigna, n.d.).1
Cigna does not require a referral for routine outpatient mental health at Wellmind. To get started, create your Wellmind account, and upload an image of the front and back of your Cigna card in the patient portal. We will contact Cigna on your behalf to obtain an estimate, so you are aware of your copay, coinsurance, or deductible.
