Medicare
Medicare does not require a referral for routine outpatient mental health care (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, n.d.).1
To get started, create your Wellmind account, and upload an image of your red, white, and blue Medicare card in the patient portal. If you have a Medicare supplement (Medigap) plan, please upload an image of the front and back of your Medigap card as well.
