Meritain Health is an Aetna-owned Third-Party Administrator (TPA), combining the network scale of a national carrier with the customized plan design of self-funded employer programs (Meritain Health, n.d.).¹

Meritain does not require a referral for routine outpatient mental health at Wellmind. To get started, create your Wellmind account, and upload an image of the front and back of your Meritain card in the patient portal. We will contact Meritain on your behalf to obtain an estimate, so you are aware of your copay, coinsurance, or deductible.
