Sutter Health Plan’s mental health coverage connects members to Sutter’s clinical network and Carelon Behavioral Health. By combining Sutter’s clinical system with behavioral health management through Carelon, members can access coordinated physical and behavioral healthcare (Sutter Health, n.d.).¹

Wellmind works with Sutter through its behavioral health hub, allowing us to collaborate with your Sutter PCP and other specialists to support a more integrated approach to care.

Sutter does not require a referral for routine outpatient mental health at Wellmind. To get started, create your Wellmind account, and upload an image of the front and back of your Sutter card in the patient portal. We will contact Sutter on your behalf to obtain an estimate, so you are aware of your copay, coinsurance, or deductible.
