Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and I am a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist with EMDRIA. EMDR accesses the brain's innate ability to overcome the obstacles of past trauma. I understand how past traumas can lend to people feeling "stuck," and can contribute to a great many symptoms and problematic behaviors. I work with people ages 18 up, to help overcome challenges, particularly those which are compounded by past traumas. I am ready to help you to learn new tools to overcome your current and past challenges and to move toward future peace and ease.

I work from an Adaptive Information Processing theoretical approach, that basically means that I understand that each experience that we face influences future challenges. By learning more adaptive ways of handling challenges people can successfully move toward recovery.

My goal is to work with you to help you to more effectively handle life's challenges, and to more fully appreciate the gifts that life has to offer. I hope to hear from you soon to learn how to live more fully in today!
