Hi! My name is Neeraja and I am currently an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I spent many years as a computer engineer but felt drawn to a more human-centered helping profession. That led me to retrain and I earned my master’s in counseling psychology from Golden Gate University, San Francisco. After completing my degree, I strengthened my therapeutic skills through direct experience working with individuals dealing with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, work-stress, parenting struggles, couple conflicts or complex life transitions.
I strive to create an empathetic, caring non-judgmental space where you can feel truly heard and supported in your healing journey. My goal is to help you navigate your unique challenges, develop insights, build healthier relationships and find ways to create meaningful change to meet your personal goals. I use an integrative approach utilizing techniques such as CBT, talk therapy, solution-focused methods and relationally informed strategies to help you create pathways to a more joyful life. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship by bringing my authentic self, cultural and lived life experiences and a stance of curiosity and humility. I aim to support you in overcoming obstacles, rediscovering strengths, using coping skills and developing practical strategies towards a more fulfilling life.
