Shawn Reber, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from California State University Long Beach in 1995, and her Master's in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from the University of San Francisco in 2005. She has worked in a private practice setting providing therapy to individuals. Shawn also has an extensive history, spanning 10 years, overseeing programs for transitional age homeless foster youth. Most recently, she has provided individual and group therapy for clients diagnosed with severe mental illness, depression, anxiety, trauma, and chronic pain using CBT and EMDR as her primary treatment modalities. Shawn has a passion for serving others with compassion and unconditional positive regard, and believes in the healing power of authentic human connection.
