Counseling is a collaborative relationship where the client is the expert on their life. We bring our expertise together to help the client achieve their goals. Everyone is unique so therapy is personal and unique for each client. I use a variety of approaches that meet the needs of the client and their needs, including Buddhist Psychology and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I want clients to feel respected and valued in the therapeutic process. I love my work as a therapist and feel so privileged to be a part of others lives that supports their healing. My work as a Marriage and Family Therapist has been both broad and deep.

Broad in the sense that I have the privilege to work with folks of all ages, backgrounds, socio economic groups and issues. Deep in the sense that I have been privileged to assist and support individuals to face substance use issues, old trauma, toxic stress and other issues to support your overall wellbeing.

I have enjoyed work with women and men, LGBTQIA+ individuals, transition age adults, adults, and older adults. My work with people with chronic illness has also impacted my practice immensely. I incorporate both western psychology approaches and eastern psychology approaches in my work.
